  31. Well, personally, I am not inclined to discuss evidence with
  32. "skeptics." The common way I address skeptics is when they post
  33. in alt.paranormal, and I reply to them.  My references to
  34. evidence are generally that they can examine it themselves
  35. without necessarily discussing it with me.

  37. If I were to want to present evidence, I imagine I'd write to
  38. sci.skeptic, and leave alt.paranormal out of the heading.
  39.  
  40. On philosophical/psychological issues that I feel would could be
  41. helpful and which should not invite debate, or other occasional
  42. issues that have to do with the expressed attitudes of PRO
  43. paranormal people regarding the postings of "skeptics" in
  44. alt.paranormal, I do occasionally post in both alt.paranormal and
  45. sci.skeptic.

  47. The statististics do show in alta vista and yahoo regarding how
  48. often a person posts to certain newsgroups.  One may use their
  49. www browser, select alta vista, usenet, and an e-mail address.
  50.  
  51. The above are my personal examples of exceptions to a rule about
  52. posting in sci.skeptic.  It has always been my general rule to
  53. *not* post in sci.skeptic, though I've slipped now and then
  54. because of my reply to other's postings that I inadvertantly left
  55. sci.skeptic in the header.
